A beautiful oasis in an urban setting, the entire outdoor area of the Museum is accessible to the public for free, 24 hours a day.
ARCHITECTURE
The Museum architecture incorporates urban design elements including: Exposed glass and steel to reflect the industrial history of Harley-Davidson and Milwaukee. More than 1,200 tons of galvanized steel beams were used to complete the Museum buildings. The impressive tower bearing the Harley-Davidson Bar & Shield at the end of the Museum building stands 80-feet tall and is one of the first things visitors notice. The West wall of the Museum building is made completely of glass, exposing the steel beams and allowing all to see inside.
